Downtown Experimental Shoot

I've been so busy with school and work that I haven't been able to just go out on a shoot for fun. So, I helped gather some local Lubbock photogs, two models, and we headed downtown for a fun photo adventure. Special thanks to Lain, Rob, Erin, Charlie, Kyle, Matthew, Alison, Charmain, Megan, and Brian for all your help! I hope you all had just as much fun as I did. Okay, check this hot couple out! The bride-to-be and I graduated high school together, and a few months ago she called me and told me she was engaged to Bryan! She asked if I would take their engagement photos in Dallas, so I drove out there for our shoot last week. I had so much fun working with them both, so now you get to see all the fun stuff! Hey everyone!

I think I'm finally finished with all my summer traveling excursions ... considering school starts on Thursday, I should hope I'm done! Time to update the blog.

These photos are of this awesome artist and friend of mine, Allison. She is an art major at Texas Tech and asked me if I were interested in doing an "artist trade" with her. Of course I said YES! She used her amazing gifts to paint me a beautiful painting (see image below) and in trade I took her out on a photoshoot. We both were able to capture beauty in our own medium and share it with the other artist. I know I had a wonderful experience working with Allison, and would love to trade things more often. If anyone else is interested in something like this (does not have to be "art" related) PLEASE CONTACT ME! I love capturing the beauty of others, plus I just think we'd have a lot of fun, so hit me up!

Here's the very talented Danielle -- she's a Communication Design Major at Texas Tech and one of my close college friends. She and I just finished design internships together at Malouf's Fine Apparel in Lubbock. Danielle is graduating in December and currently working on her portfolio. Check out this hot duo -- Gary and Jordan. These two are some of my most favorite friends in the world. Not only are the both brilliant and beautiful, but they are extremely talented swing dancers! I was given the opportunity to take photos of them both before Gary makes the big move to Houston, Texas, to attend medical school in the fall. Here are some of my favorite shots!
